Here is the formal license agreement for the Cattle Vet Consultant software. It's free for ACV members to use, at their own risk.

ELECTRONIC END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

For Cattle Vet Consultant Software

NOTICE TO USER: THIS IS A CONTRACT. BY INSTALLING THIS SOFTWARE YOU ACCEPT ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

This End User License Agreement ('EULA') accompanies the Cattle Vet Consultant Software (“Software”). The term "Software" also shall include any upgrades, modified versions or updates of the Software licensed to you by US. The "creator" of this software is ITVet Pty Ltd. The "Distributors" of this software are Australian Cattle Veterinarians, a special interest group of the Australian Veterinary Association Ltd, Australia.

Please read this Agreement carefully. You will be asked to accept this agreement and continue to install or, if you do not wish to accept this Agreement, to decline this agreement, in which case you will not be able to use the Software.

Upon your acceptance of this Agreement, The Australian Cattle Veterinarians grants to you a nonexclusive license to use the Software, provided that you agree to the following:

1. Use of the Software. You may install the Software for use on computers owned or exclusively controlled by you, and you may only use the software while you are a member of the ACV. You may not distribute the software to other parties. You may only create and distribute programs generated by this software after you have applied for and received a serial number from the Australian Cattle Veterinarians.

2. Accessing and use of this software is done at the end user's discretion and risk. You hereby agree that you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system, loss of data or other harm that results from such use.

3. Copyright and Trademark Rights. The Software is owned by the "creator", and its structure, organization and code are valuable intellectual property. The Software also is protected by Australian Copyright Law and International Treaty provisions. This Agreement does not grant you any intellectual property rights in the Software.

4. Restrictions. You agree not to modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Software.

5. No Warranty. The Software is being delivered to you AS IS and the "creator" and "distributors" make no warranty as to its use or performance. We provide you with a demonstration period. You must use this time to ensure that this software meets your needs before using it.

6. The software is designed to (amongst other things) make the task of creating farm management plans very easy. It remains the responsibility of the veterinarian determine the suitability and accuracy of such plans. The creator and distributors of this program accept no responsibility for the outcomes of any reports generated by this software.

7. By using the software you hereby agree to indemnify and forever hold harmless the Creator and Distributor (and its related companies, directors, officers, employees, consultants and agents) from all or any loss, costs, claims, liability or responsibility which may arise in any way by you or any third party as a result of your use.

THE CREATOR AND DISTRIBUTORS OF THIS SOFTWARE DO NOT AND CANNOT WARRANT THE PERFORMANCE OR RESULTS YOU MAY OBTAIN BY USING THE SOFTWARE OR DOCUMENTATION. THE CREATORS AND DISTRIBUTORS OF THIS SOFTWARE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO AN INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL THE CREATORS AND DISTRIBUTORS OF THIS SOFTWARE BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS OR LOST SAVINGS, EVEN IF A REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY.

BY INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT, YOU INDICATE ACCEPTANCE OF THE FOREGOING AGREEMENT.
