The ACV conference will be held at the Country Club Launceston in mid April 2011. This is the second conference in a series of three, the highly successful first conference (How to treat) was held in Alice Springs in April 2010. In response to members’ feedback, these conferences provide practical tools for veterinarians in all stages of their careers – new grads, those returning to the cattle practice (eg after family committments or a period overseas), those who see a small amount of cattle in their practice as well as more experienced/full time cattle practicioners.
The theme will be “How to Diagnose”
The conference will commence with a welcome function on Wednesday, and will run until Saturday evening. A new feature which we hope will be popular with members at the 2011 conference will be a light breakfast (eg bacon and egg roll) each morning with welcome coffee.
Thursday night will be a special younger members beer and pizza night with other delegates free to meet with family, friends or have a quiet night.
